Cut price art + design magazines remind me of the importance of thinking on an international (and not localized) level. To paraphrase Frank Auerbach “what use is it being the number one surrealist painter in your village in Bulgaria?”
I’m going to paint more self portraits and concentrate on beard growth until I achieve a length equal to that of MC Read.
